Hi All, New mom here! I am currently breastfeeding, but needed to give my son some boiled water as he was constipated (due to thickener needed for reflux). I was curious after sterilising bottles, in the microwave, how long they remain sterile if kept empty and where is the best place to store them to keep them sterile (fridge or in cupboard). And then I also wanted to know the best way of organising and storing boiled water. Once you sterilise bottles and then boil the jug, do you simply fill the bottle (leave to cool on the bench with lid off, covered with paper towel maybe? - as you can't put the teat on when hot) - then once cooled, put teat and cap on and store in fridge ? Is this the easiest way ? How long can you store boiled water for bubs ? 24 hours in fridge ? Any help would be excellent. Thankyou.
